The Five Year Plan

Okay hopefully this won't take 5 years, but I do plan on building Fucked Up Burger Shack for a long time. Considering I first started thinking up this game in May 2015, I've given quite a lot of thought to the design. I want the game to be like a text smut masterpiece. I've planned things in a way that will allow new features and systems to be added on top of the game so that it gets more interesting over time without breaking previous content. I think the order of these ideas is sensible, but I'm open to any feedback on them.

Phase 1: Burger Bus

This is already up and running! The player can prep food, serve customers and occasionally spread orgasm inducing cursed semen into the food supply in order to greatly expand profits.

-Locations

I want to add the ability to park the bus in interesting places. One example is the beach where everyone is half naked. Another is outside of a church where the player can give worshipers something really good to praise. And outside a nightclub, where the virile club goers will be eager to spend and fuck.

-Catering

This is an excuse to add in a series of fetish content that comes to mind. Consider for example catering a birthday party in which the player ends up stripping for and fucking the birthday boy/girl in front of a room full of people. Or a wedding where the player ends up fucking the bride/groom/both at the altar. Or a college party where the player fucks the whole freshman class. Etc., etc.

Phase 2: Burger Shack

At this point the gameplay switches up from working to managing. The player accumulates enough money to ditch the burger bus and rent a brick and mortar spot in a shady area to do business. The shack is essentially a dump but it's a whole new beginning.

-Employees

The player can interview (fuck) candidates, train (fuck) new employees, manage (fuck) existing employees, reprimand (fuck) employees for bad work and commend (fuck) them for good work. I'd also like to mess around with having employees come from legit sources (job ads, walk-ins) and not so legit sources (strip clubs, brothels, street walkers).

-Employee Uniforms

This is its own separate thing because I think it will require a significant amount of effort on top of having employees. The basic idea is that each employee will be forced to wear the standard uniform in order to work. Depending on the employee they may have issues with the level of clothing (or lack thereof). The uniforms available will be based on special events that are found and completed successfully throughout the game.

Phase 3: Burger Joint

Now the player will move on to a better location for the brick and mortar business. I picture a drive through, bigger menu, and other fast food restaurant type stuff. The player will even have a private office to do 'business'.

-Dating

Dates should be a delightful way to unwind after managing employees all day. The basic date will be a CYOA style mini game ending in either sex or sex with impregnation. At this stage I only plan on the encounter being a fling. I expect dates to come from random customer events or active searches using sex partner finding apps. Dates will be the standard bullshit but with detailed happy endings.

-Date Transformations

The magical elements of the game will come into play on dates at a special unlockable restaurant. The idea is that the player will be able to order specific desserts for the date that will have immediate magical effects. These effects will be in line with what is possible with random generation, which by now should be very robust.

Phase 4: Burger Place

This location will bring in higher income and more customers. Dual drive through windows, a big parking lot, kid’s playground (to keep them out of the way), even a delivery driver.

-Relationships

Once a date is successful I think it inevitably should go to repeat dates and long term relationships. I imagine the player should have a better flat where a spouse could move in. This really gets interesting depending on the spouse and how flexible they are with the player's other activities. I imagine some will expect monogamy and others won't. So there will be jealousy, cheating, breakups, revenge fucks, makeup sex, three ways, and other fun relationship type shit.

-Pregnancy

This one is pretty self explanatory. But there are some unintended consequences of impregnation due to the player's curse.

-Delivery driving

This is a lightweight mechanic that is an excuse to have more fetish type encounters. For example, a lonely MILF housewife who orders a 'Super Sticky Burger' for lunch while hubby is at work, or a DILF soccer coach who is looking for a quick bite before going home after practice. I'm even toying with the idea of using the Burger Bus as a taxi type of service, but that's a bit wild... and I'll probably add it.

Phase 5: Burger Emporium

At this point the business is booming into a true enterprise. This location is much bigger and better than the Burger Place. The player will need a certain renown to even setup in this location. This phase will be a delicate balance of staying legit despite indulging in illicit activities.

-Harem

I expect the player's reputation will command more than a single person could offer. The player will be living in a very big house, filled with very many spouses. The petty relationship issues will generally subside, but there should be some woes in regards to who gets to spend the most time with the player. These issues will be settled with gangbangs, bukkake, public shaming, or other group sex actions.

-Brothel

The Emporium will double as a low class brothel. Employees can be made to do sex work as an additional source of income and fun. This will have tricky implications with how the business runs, since not everyone will be interested in eating in a known brothel. I've given thought to having the player prostitute themselves but I think the cum powers make the idea to OP... and I'll probably add it.

Phase 6: Burger Palace

Last but not least, the Burger Palace will be like a super fine dining experience. It will be a multilevel establishment so that prostitution takes place on a separate floor from the restaurant. The new challenge is finding a way to bring the Sticky Stu brand to the masses.

-Sex Club

The player will literally run a sex club on a level of the Palace, separate from the brothel. The club will be themed based on the player's interests. A few ideas: BDSM chambers, High class burlesque theater, lactation & cum milking farm, happy ending spa. This is very free form right now but the goal is that it should be an ideal sex paradise type of environment.

-Franchising

At this point Sticky Stu is a household name that commands national attention. The idea with this last feature is to close out the game with a definite bang. The franchising system will allow the player to fly across the country/world to enlist potential franchisees. I picture high class wining/dining and lots of good sex content.

So that's the plan.

If you've ever made a game before you are probably thinking that this is all just impossible to build bullshit. That's a good assessment but here are my thoughts:

First I'd say that I'm not building everything at once, I'm going bit by bit. The tech behind the game allows new content to be added in a very easy way as long as the foundation is solid. I'm writing the game in as forward thinking a way as I can to ensure that things stay smooth as I go. And like many others working on adult games this is just a hobby project. Production can ramp up when I have more free time, but I'm expecting this to game to take years to build.

Second, not everything will make it. I know that I'll have to compromise somewhere eventually. And some of these ideas may not even be that fun in reality. I'm not married to anything except maybe the cursed cum aspect ... I really like that.

Third, I'm going to get bored BUT I WON'T QUIT. In the three years that I've been working on text games I've started exactly 30 different projects. I've only blogged about a few of them since they aren't all worthy of talking about. I know that I am likely to get distracted, but I can funnel that distraction into unique events in FUBS. For example, I can add an entirely unique CYOA story line in the game without breaking anything else. When wacky ideas come to me, and they always do, the random event possibilities in FUBS allow me to do something creatively different that still benefits the game. Plus, I may reincorporate content that I've built for other projects into the game.

Fourth, I'm open to help. FUBS is moddable in the hopes that others will be interested in adding to it. I'm not depending on a sea of contributions, but if any intrepid players make something good I want to bring it into the game. Not listed in this road map is the work I plan on doing to ease the process of modding. I want to make collaboration a breeze but it will take time.
